Transit Georgina is a grassroots response to the growing need
for public transit in the Town of Georgina in central Ontario. Transit Georgina is also a community
transportation service operated by Georgina Mobility Transit Inc., a registered
charity and
not-for-profit organization. |

Members of Georgina Mobility Transit have been working
together since 1988 to make transportation in Georgina more readily available and accessible to
everyone in our community. Our work involves influencing decision-makers and
working in partnership with other community groups and organizations to bring more public transit to
our town. It also involves operating the caring, low-cost
transportation service that we call Transit Georgina. |
